On June 28, 2008, the 2nd International Symposium on Puyi Research was held in Tianjin
The Second International Symposium on Puyi Studies, sponsored by Changchun Puyi Research Association and sponsored by Tianjin Historic Architecture Arrangement Co., Ltd., was held in Lishunde Hotel, Tianjin City, on June 28, 2008. This symposium was the second held in the Puppet Manchu Palace Museum of Changchun in 2006. After an International Symposium on Puyi's research, another academic grand meeting of experts and scholars at home and abroad was held. More than 100 experts, scholars and media friends from Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Shenyang, Dalian, Changchun and other national universities, academies of social sciences, museums, archives, publishing houses, the United States, Russia and other countries attended the conference. The Symposium received more than 60 papers, 26 of which made an exchange speech at the conference. The topic focuses on Puyi's seven-year restoration activities and life experiences in Tianjin. The number of participants, the scale of the conference and the impact of the conference far exceed the previous one. The seminar is a pioneer and a collection of Puyi's research on Tianjin edition. The most important breakthrough of the seminar is to dig out the valuable historical context and to conduct in-depth discussions and publish works. At the conference, the participants expressed their opinions around the central topic, exchanged academic ideas and shared academic achievements. The paper covered all aspects of Puyi's time in Tianjin. The successful convening of the second International Symposium on Puyi Research is the innovation and development of Puyi Research. His thesis can be regarded as an innovative work that keeps pace with the times in terms of historical research, human nature and the sense of the times. It refreshes the attending scholars and guests, thus breaking through the original pattern of Puyi's research, changing the new perspective of Puyi's research, and bringing new vitality to Puyi's research.
