The Sixth International Symposium on Puyi Studies, sponsored by Changchun Puyi Research Association and Puppet Manchu Palace Museum and sponsored by Fushun War Criminals Management Institute, ended on September 6, 2016 at the club of the former site of Fushun War Criminals Management Institute.
Experts, scholars and media friends from Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing, Changzhou, Inner Mongolia, Harbin, Qiqihar, Shenyang, Fushun, Huludao, Changchun, the National Political Consultative Conference of the Four Equalities, universities, academies of social sciences, museums, publishing houses, magazines, the United States, Uzbekistan, South Korea and other countries totaled more than 100. People attended the meeting, including veteran experts in historical studies, famous scholars and experts in Chunyi research, and members of the Aixinjueluo family. Mass Publishing House and Journal of Jilin University also appointed relevant editors to attend the conference. They paid close attention to and followed up the International Symposium on Puyi's research and related academic achievements.
The conference has received 67 papers from scholars at home and abroad. The conference adopts a combination of group discussions and keynote speeches. The topics focus on the history of Puyi's Fushun transformation, the history of the puppet Manchukuo, and the modern and contemporary history of China related to Puyi. Some of the papers involve other historical periods of Puyi's life and relevant parties. Noodles. The highlight of this conference is that while fully carrying out academic exchanges, it also explores and prospects the future development direction of Puyi's research. Standing in the historical background of Northeast Asia, the connotation and extension of Puyi's research have been continuously expanded, so that Puyi's research has developed into a deep field. Taking "Puyi and his era" as the research object, this paper enriches Puyi's research content and makes Puyi's research go to the world.
